Marketing Focus

In our class we are studying about Market Information Management. Which is gathering and using information about customers to improve business decision making. Today in our class the teacher set up a table with cups and devided the cups in three groups. In each group of cups she put different kinds of soda, and the class had to taste each kind of soda and decide which one was the best. Most of the class choose soda #1, cause they thought it was sweet and it had a good after taste. The class disliked the soda #2 cause they tought it was flat. Then the teacher told us which kind were the sodas. Soda #1 was the cheapest brand from sams. The second one was pepsi and the third one was coke.
The lesson that we learned is that each company take a product and test it on costumers and they see what they like so they can make the product better.

Distribution

Today in our marketing class we learned about distribution. Taking a product from one place to another. Each team had to take water and salt from a cup to another cup, and we had to have a plan to find out how we can transport the water and the salt faster than the other teams using a straw, a napkin, and a spoon. I was transporting the salt and my plan was to use the spoon to scup all the salt off the cup and put it on the napkin as fast as I could. My team partner was transporting the water, his plan was to put as much water as he could in his mouth using the straw and then pour it in the other cup. Some of the challenges that we had was that we only had to go one way and to many people were covering the way.

Interview Questions

My favorite food is lasagna , I like listening to punk rock and classic rock, My favorite TV show are Fantasy Factory and Bully Beatdown. What I do for fun is playing soccer and skateboarding. I dont like school but if i had to choose a favorite subject I would choose math, because that's the only subject that I'm really good at. I don't study for test only if Im failling that class or if I don't understand it. Sometimes I just go over the review and read what I don't understand. I think we can divide work in our team by each team member doing one question and then work it out together. I would make a great team memeber because I know how to work with others.
